Transactions for loose waste or waste in excess of 500 pounds shall be weighed and charges at a ½ ton minimum with a minimum fee of $45.00
Senior Citizens may dispose of 1 bag of trash per day at no charge
Leaves and yard waste (branches less than 1” diameter) are free to homeowners who live within the City of Taunton. License must be provided to ensure residency. Large branches and logs will be weighted and charged at gate rate.
Leaves and yard waste brought in commercially with be charged based on tonnage at gate rates.
Recyclables such as bottles, cans, paper and cardboard brought in by residents will be accepted at no charge.
Commercial customers bringing in cardboard will be weighed and charged at the gate rate.
Waste oil disposal up to 5 gallons per day is free to homeowners
