The Mayor's Worthy Cause is an account from which the Mayor supports a wide array of worthwhile events and activities that benefit the citizens of Taunton of all ages. The Mayor's Worthy Cause account is supported by donations from businesses and individuals whose sole purpose is to improve the quality of life and bring joy to each and every citizen.
The Mayor's Worthy Cause supports the annual Kiddie's Day in Taunton as well as the annual Christmas Parade that draws thousands of citizens to the region every December. Scholarships and home heating assistance programs also benefit from the Mayor's Worthy Cause.
