Purpose and Function
The Engineering Division provides technical and engineering assistance to various City departments and offers technical guidance to residents of the City. The division is also responsible for reviewing all plans for infrastructure improvements as well as subdivision, private development and individual residential construction projects. The division can be called upon to develop its own infrastructure plans, specifications and other construction documents for public bids. The Engineering Division is also the primary repository of all record infrastructure information.
